A column written by a man who has given so much to this newspaper, and the wider Bendigo community.
Wayne Gregson’s Bushwhacked has often connected us – in laughter, tears and reflection. It has made us pause and think; divided us at times and often, left us a little curious.
This week, as his final column gives him the ‘last bite of that long, tasty, hugely satisfying meal’, the man who never ran out of words has left us all trying to find the right ones.
But what we can say Wayne, is that we agree – that all went very well. And thank you.
Here is Wayne’s final Bushwhacked – where he explains how ‘some very nice, compassionate people’ told him a few weeks ago that he had an aggressive cancer, which is inoperable and untreatable.
Wayne and Linda, and your family, your current and past Addy colleagues (and indeed the broader central Victorian community) are thinking of you.
