The Hawks have reeled off six wins in a row, including last week becoming the first team to defeat Bendigo East in what at this stage shapes as a grand final preview.
In a sign of their consistency, the Hawks have the rinks of Dean Carter, Darren Burgess and Brayden Byrne all among the top five in the competition.

Got away to a flyer winning its first four games, which included a 60-shot thumping of Castlemaine.
But South has since hit the skids, losing its past three games to fall from first to fourth in what’s the exact same scenario that played out last season when the team was able to regain its mojo and make the grand final.

Season started on a bright note by knocking off reigning premier Eaglehawk on its home green in round one.

Having taken some positive steps forward in recent seasons, it has been lean pickings for Inglewood, with its only win by one shot against Kangaroo Flat.
But has been more competitive than a 1-6 record suggests given three of its losses have been by seven shots or less – and that includes games against Eaglehawk and Bendigo.
Saturday’s games:
Bendigo v Inglewood, Bendigo East v Castlemaine, Golden Square v Eaglehawk, Kangaroo Flat v South Bendigo.
