The new pavilion at the Wesley Hill Recreation Reserve will include unisex change rooms, first aid facilities, umpire change rooms, office space, kiosk, storage and public toilets.
The pavilion is mostly funded by the council and has been supported with a $100,000 grant from the state government’s Female Friendly Facilities Fund.
The council is also installing floodlights on the reserve football oval, to allow teams to hold evening training sessions.
The lights will be ready before the junior football season begins in April 2019.
