The camp is as a way to identify future Australian Boomers and Chemist Warehouse Opals while also assessing the athletes for potential scholarship holders for Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence.
Athletes will participate in on-court sessions, physical testing, recovering training, practice games and individual coach feedback meetings.
Daniels recently returned from the FIBA Under-15 Oceania Championships where the Australian boys team was awarded a gold medal after winning the grand final clash 61-58 against New Zealand.
Fellow Bendigo junior basketball player Piper Dunlop was also awarded a gold medal after the Australian girls team went through the tournament undefeated, taking victory over New Zealand in the grand final 110-30.
