THE Bendigo Spirit lost their fourth game in a row on Friday night, suffering an 18-point defeat to ladder-leaders Perth.
Playing on their home court, the Lynx improved to 9-2 with their 86-68 victory.
The Spirit started the game on a strong note, leading 19-11 at quarter-time, but by half-time the Lynx had surged to a 40-29 advantage.
Nadeen Payne scored a Spirit season-high 27 points for Bendigo, while Abbey Wehrung added 16.
The WNBL’s leading scorer, Asia Taylor, dropped 33 for Perth.
The loss leaves Bendigo at 6-7 ahead of Sunday’s clash in Canberra against Kelsey Griffin’s Capitals.
