A CFA spokesperson said crews are at a small grass fire close to the Calder Highway near Charlton.
The fire is under control and hasn’t impacted traffic on the highway.
In Stanhope, five CFA crews are currently at a two-hectare fire near the Midland Highway.
It is currently unclear whether the fire is affecting traffic.
Temperatures are expected to hit 39 degrees in the region on Friday, and 35 degrees on Saturday.
