The final days of the tournament includes singles and doubles knockout stages on Saturday followed by singles and doubles finals on Sunday.
China will be the team to watch as they aim to retain their crowns as champions within all categories of the competition.
“All the players are excited to reach the end of the tournament and look forward to crowning the new junior table tennis champions,” ITTF Oceania executive director Christian Holtz said.
Holtz said it was an event not to be missed as the standard of play was “very close” to Olympic standard.
“Although these competitors are only junior athletes, table tennis players reach their peak very early in their careers,” Holtz said.
“What you will see at the World Junior Championships is as good as it gets and I recommend everyone comes down to watch the action.”
The ITTF Oceania WJTTC will be at the Bendigo Stadium this weekend, play commences at 10am both days and tickets available at the door.
