The Bendigo Advertiser is inviting people to donate toys to its annual Christmas appeal over the coming weeks.
People can place a gift under the Christmas tree located at the paper’s Williamson Street offices.
The gifts will go to the St Vincent de Paul Society.
The Bendigo Lego User Group has kicked off donations with an estimated $400 to $500 worth of goods.
The group’s Lego ambassador Michael Peebles said members had been asked to donate what they could. They responded by sending in Lego products.
“The group just wanted to share its passion around with everyone else,” he said.
“We spend all year playing with bricks and our members are really good about passing that passion on to other people.”
Mr Peebles said this year’s donation included a mix of goods that would appeal to those from five-years-of-age through to older children.
