The Kids Christmas Concert on December 23 will see them celebrate the holiday season.
Hosted by the Bendigo Theatre Company, WIN News Bendigo, Bendigo Stadium and the Hindsight Club, money raised from the concert goes to the Bendigo Health Christmas Appeal.
Event co-ordinator Jordan French said he hopes the community gets behind the event.
“Christmas carols and songs are Christmas. I think they make Christmas, Christmas. Anywhere you go Christmas songs tend to put people in the spirit,” he said.
Performers have been rehearsing since October for the concert.
“We are almost at show quality, it’s just a case of slotting in external groups like the Start Studio dancers, the (BTC) pantomime cast and, for the first time, Cheer N Dance,” he said.
“In total the performers will be around 60 people but that's only a small portion of the volunteers who help put the event on.”
Funds from this year’s appeal will go towards purchasing a new patient transport bus that is driven by Bendigo Health volunteers. The Bendigo Health Volunteer Express bus transports more than 300 patients to their appointments each month.
The Kids Christmas Concert is on Sunday, December 23, at Bendigo Stadium. Visit https://premier.ticketek.com.au to book.
