Students show up politicians for lack of policy
Once again students across the nation have shown up our Federal Government for lack of policy or leadership on climate change and the chance to reduce energy costs to the public.

The skeptics are alive and active with comments from Prime Minister Morrison, that they can deal with it and the students should be in school.
Eric Abbett's said they should be going through their local members sending emails (which more than likely would not get a response) and no action would be taken.
Then we have the Federal Resources Minister, Matt Canavan, who stated that he was on the side of science and Australia to develop energy sources such as solar and coal. And that they should be in school learning about science and mining instead of learning about the dole queue!

These students are learning the science and the problems facing us and are far more intelligent than what they are being given credit for. They are showing to everyone that they can think and understand what is going on in the world more than what our leaders are demonstrating.
That's right, they will end up on the dole queue if this government doesn't act now. There isn't much going for our nation. What are we seeing is manufacturing industries closed or sold off, our farming industry doing it very tough, fighting for survival, aged care, disability services, bullying in the workplace – even in their own party with members quitting and cyber bullying, health and education.
The students are right to make a stand as it will be their future that is at stake. Decisions need to be made now because there won't be a future for them if the present leaders don’t start to act responsibly.
The actions of the Coalition over recent months is all about themselves, driven by egos and selfishness and a lack of respect for the voter. As the old saying goes, there is no “I” in team.

Climate change rallies ‘should alarm parents’
The student rallies in Melbourne and regional centres calling for climate change action should alarm parents all over Victoria: not that students shouldn’t be politically aware or even active – if they genuinely understand the issue.
My concern is that Victorian students are being subjected to the political and ideological ideas of their politically active teachers without parents knowing what is being taught – from climate change theories to gender fluid theories to sexual and reproductive education at very young ages.
Apparently five year olds are being taught about climate change, nine year olds about the need for three parent families: the list goes on.
Why does Daniel Andrews and his education minister allow this ideological brainwashing of the state’s children, and why don’t parents protest? As a grandmother I am deeply concerned about the future of education in this state. Not academic excellence, but Marxist theories.
