BENDIGO Spirit import Becca Tobin’s monster performance in last Saturday’s overtime loss to the Townsville Fire was statistically the most dominant all-round game by a player in the Simon Pritchard coaching era.
Tobin filled her stat line with 26 points, 19 rebounds, four assists, four blocks and one steal – a combination of numbers that when tallied up equals 54 and then drops back to 52 when subtracting her two turnovers.
Using that formula of points + rebounds + assists + blocks + steals – turnovers, Tobin’s game last Saturday ranks No.1 from a statistical point of view in the Pritchard era as coach, which dates back to the 2015-16 season and covers 80 games.
