Martin currently sits in 66th position on the Habitat for Humanity Asian Tour standings and in order to retain his tour card for the 2019 season he must finish within the top 60 players.
“My goal is to finish within the top 60 players, I could possibly scrape through at around 63 in the rankings,” Martin said.
“However, I’d prefer to be within the top 60 to be safe.”
Martin will be teeing off in Bangkok for the US$500,000 Queen's Cup hosted by the Jaidee Foundation.
The tournament will be played in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, where Thai golfing legend Thongchai Jaidee will also take to the course.
Martin had a recent T45 at the Australian Open, where he impressed with a six-under par 66 during the final round.
