Powercor has updated its estimate for power to come back on to 11.30am.

The affected area stretches from Redbank to near Newstead and continues to affect about 90 customers.

Powercor is responding to a power outage affecting customers an an area around Maryborough.

People in Moolort, Cotswold, Red Lion, Majorca, Glengower, Baringhup and Mount Cameron are affected.

About 90 customers are still without power after the incident, which was triggered at about 3.20am.

Powercor says the fault in Sutton Road, Maryborough, is under investigation and estimates power will be restored by 8am.
