How about a new Dja Dja Wurrung performance, Yapenya, which will premiere in Rosalind Park on Saturday night. 

Or maybe the intricacies of embroidery with the Bendigo branch of Embroiderers Guild Victoria  exhibiting more than 500 pieces of work from more than 100 members.

After a $5.1 million facelift of the Bendigo Soldier’s Memorial you can finally see the result, with displays focussing on central Victorians during war.

It’s at the tail-end of spring garden opening season, but a couple of the best are on in the next fortnight – Paul Bangay’s Stonefield and Musk Farm, both near Daylesford. Worth the trip and, if it’s a Sunday, keep an eye out for the Daylesford market (along with a host of other markets in the area).
