Paul Bangay’s Stonefield
Renowned landscape designer Paul Bangay is opening his expansive Stonefield garden to the public for a special fundraiser this November that will help connect children with real food. The spectacular 16-hectare private property is near Daylesford in central Victoria. The event will benefit Stephanie Alexander’s Kitchen Foundation.

When: November 17 and 18, 10am-6pm. A private tour of the property with a $250 entry fee is being held on Sunday between 8.30am and 9.30m. Other tickets are $25-$40.
Where: Stonefields. Complimentary off-site parking is included with the Stonefields admission ticket at the official car parkat 626 Daylesford-Malmsbury Road, Wheatsheaf, with shuttle buses to Stonefields every 10 minutes.

Romswood Farm gardens
This spring, Romswood Farm will open the gates to its peony farm, with visitors welcome to explore the established gardens or wander through the fields of blooming peonies where they can pick their own bunch to take home. Pack a picnic (or try some of the on-site food), listen to folk music and small the peonies. Children can embark on nature walks to look out for some of the furry friends who also call Romswood home or, on November 25, delight in Parker’s Mini Circus.

Musk Farm gardens
Open Gardens Victoria is opening the much-loved Musk Farm garden at Musk (near Daylesford) on November 24 and 25. Twenty years ago, the late Stuart Rattle transformed what was a dilapidated old school house into a stunning property surrounded by elegant semi-formal gardens comprising 14 garden “rooms”. Subsequent owners have continued to maintain and add to this beautiful 3.5 acre garden. The opening also features wine tastings, cheese, Devonshire teas, sculpture, botanic art and plant sales.
When: November 24 and 25. 10.00am - 4.30pm. Entry $12, students $5, under 18 free
Where: Musk Farm, Musk. Can only be accessed on the open days by a vintage train ride from Daylesford Railway station or a bus shuttle service from Daylesford Secondary College. There will be no parking on site.
