Motorsport fans converged on the Rushworth Speedway on Saturday night to watch former national champion Andrew Blackwell race his way to victory within the Modified Sedans Class.

Blackwell fought a tight battle against Martin Hawson, who kept applying pressure to the former champion up until the final lap.
In the GV Open Sedan Class Michael Wicks returned to the track in a modified Hyundai to defeat Garry Gapes by more than 15 seconds for the win, alongside a one lap best time of 18.813.
In the Ladies Saloon Class Chloe Lamb was victorious after tight on-the-track battles with Kelly Lamb, Cassie Wicks, Chelsea Hodge and Nicola Gapes.
In the GV Junior Sedans Class Todd Atkins finished in top position and in the GV Production Sedans Mark Cecil won.
The next event at the Rushworth Speedway will take place on December 8 with GV Open Saloons, GV Production Series, GV Ladies and GV Juniors.
