Police allege the 20-year-old Bendigo man had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.129 and was driving about 30km/h over the the 110km/h speed limit on the Calder Highway.

The vehicle was intercepted about 2.41am by police from Maryborough and Castlemaine.
Acting Sergeant Polglase said the probationary driver was charged on summons to attend the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court in relation to drink driving and exceeding the speed limit.
