Do we have a Senior Victorians Office similar to the Office for Youth? No. There is no clear mechanism for elderly Victorians to influence policy making of government departments.

Victoria's projected population by 2051 is 10.1 million, with 3.9 million –   or around 38 per cent – aged  50 and over. The number of people aged 65 years and over is most likely to triple between 2011 and 2051.

The State and Federal Governments  have withdrawn from public housing over the years.   Do we have enough public housing in Bendigo? No.

We have council encouraging social and economic policies aimed at improving  the capacity to plan and create communities that better accommodate the ageing population.

We also have a Commissioner for Senior Victorians, but that office does not provide the central focus to ensure all legislation, government programs and initatives likely to impact on elderly Victorians are assessed for impact and appropriateness across all relevant government departments.

There needs to be a change in outlook by governments in regards to our ageing population.

The past decade has seen the PM Turntable Co regularly releasing new models. 

The latest is the SCOMO Spin Turntable which was released about two months ago. 

It replaced the Bull Turntable which superseded the Rabbot Turntable. The Rabbot Turntable was a result of the turbulence during the RGR Series Turntables. 

The RGR Series Turntables were preceded by the How Hard Turntable which reigned supreme for 11 years.

What changes have occurred to the PM range of Turntables? 

The How Hard Turntable turned at its own speed. Not 33, or 45, or 78. It churned over in the 50s.

The RGR Series Turntables did not really go at all. It seems the prototype of the Rabbot Turntable model was causing interference.

The Rabbot Turntable model was the result of the prototype and kept going backwards trying to emulate the How Hard Turntable model.

The Bull Turntable tried hard to go in the correct direction but kept being nudged to the right.

The SCOMO Spin Turntable was an unexpected released to the public at the end of August this year.

This model spins at 78 in one direction and then suddenly, usually after a tweet, it reverses to the other direction. It also just plays what you want to hear, depending on who is listening.

General consensus is that there may be a product recall in May next year.

What will be the next model from the PM Turntable Co? Will it be a Shortened Turntable or maybe a change of colour to a Green model?
