A SHEPPARTON man has been remanded in custody in relation to a number of incidents in Goornong.

The 25-year-old man was charged with three counts of criminal damage and three counts of burglary after the Goornong Cricket Club, the Goornong Recreation Reserve hall and a private house under construction in Grant Street, Goornong, were broken into and vandalised between Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
He was arrested at an address in Goornong on Monday night.
Officer-in-charge of the Goornong Police Station, Leading Senior Constable Darren Scherger said the man was remanded to appear in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
He said the man was further remanded to appear in Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on December 4.
