The Demons officially signed former Sandhurst small forward Mitch Dole on Monday.
A member of Sandhurst's 2016 BFNL premiership team, Dole played 91 senior games for the Dragons between 2012-2018.
He kicked a total of 130 goals for the Dragons, including a career-high 57 in 2014.
Dole adds some class to the Dragons' forward line, while he is also expected to spend some time through the midfield.
He also brings some much-needed premiership experience to a group that has lacked on-field success in the HDFNL recent years.
"We're trying to build competitive squad and Mitch is a quality footballer,'' Kerridge said on Monday.
"With his pace and size we'll use him through the midfield and inside forward 50 because he's shown that he knows where the goals are.”
Kerridge, who was appointed senior coach last week, expected Dole’s announcement to be the first of several key signings for White Hills in the next few weeks.
"We're after a few good players, so it's good to get the first piece of the puzzle done," Kerridge said.
