In case you missed the Addy yesterday, Be.Bendigo has announced a new initiative that aims to grow regional employment opportunities – a program known as GROW Bendigo.
GROW Bendigo, Growing Regional Opportunities for Work, is a three-year plan that aims to boost economic activity, reduce unemployment and address place-based disadvantage, but the goal is for a long-term sustainable program.
The initial stages will see Be.Bendigo talk to businesses about their procurement process and work with employers to hire people from areas of disadvantage.
