There’s a lot of excitement building around the Bendigo Open House program, with a host of public and private buildings throwing open their doors.
You can check out tiny houses, ornate houses/public buildings and quite a few renovated houses. The Beehive in Bendigo is sure to be popular having recently been remodelled. What will you get out to see?
The agricultural show rolls into Bendigo this weekend, with the time-honoured rides, competitions and cute animals. Head along to the showgrounds to catch all the colour.
The longest running play in London’s West End – Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap – hit the stage in Bendigo this week. The classic murder mystery from the Bendigo Theatre Company will run until November 5.
The first BendArts Festival will present a programme of exhibitions, works and performances from local artists until Sunday.
The St Paul’s Art prize exhibition will also open, with 150 works from regional artists on display.

There’s an action-packed weekend of bike events with Bike Palooza and the Bendigo Cycling Classic, a fun day out in the Mandurang Valley on Sunday raising money for charity.
After something a little less active? Try watching some tennis. The Bendigo Women’s International Pro Tour tennis tournament had an early upset, with the top player knocked out in the early rounds. Who will win? You can find out on Sunday.
On Saturday you can take your first splash in the new Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre at Kangaroo Flat after the official opening on Friday.
And, finally, save the date for the Bendigo Cup – it’s this Wednesday, October 31. Both fashions and horses will be paraded, but if you’re going also keep an eye out for the locals out for glory on the track.
