A 22-year-old White Hills man was driving his red Ford sedan along Grenfell Avenue on Friday October 12 when he was held up at knifepoint by an unknown man who demanded his car keys and possessions. The victim managed to drive off, and was not injured.
Police say the offender seemed to be Caucasian in appearance, about 180 centimetres tall, in his late 30s or early 40s, with medium-length hair and a bushy goatee.
Police released a computer generated image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation on Monday.
