As part of Get Online Week, Bendigo Family and Financial Services received a grant to run one free class to improve people’s digital skills.
BF&FS general manager Jenny Elvey said the class was aimed at those in the community who were unable to access support to improve their ability to get online.
“More people than you probably think still don’t use the internet at all, and we’re here to help,” she said.
“Getting the most out of the internet doesn’t have to be scary.
“Doing just one new thing online is all you need to do to get started – come along to our event and we can help you do just that.”
The class will run from 10am to 1pm at Bendigo Family and Financial Services at 8 Myers Street, Bendigo. Contact 5441 5277 to book your place.
