THE football salary caps for all four senior leagues across the AFL Central Victoria region have been reduced by $10,000 for 2019.
AFLCV has released its new salary cap figures and player point allocations for the Bendigo, Heathcote District, Loddon Valley and North Central leagues.
Next year will be the third season of the salary caps, which have been reduced for the first time by AFLCV.
The Bendigo league cap has been reduced from $160,000 to $150,000 per club.
The Heathcote District and North Central leagues have been cut from $140,000 to $130,000.

And the Loddon Valley will return to its 2017 figure of $120,000 after it was this year increased to $130,000.
“There is a directive to bring down player payments across the state and these reductions are in line with that,” AFLCV region manager Carol Cathcart said on Thursday.
“We have had varying feedback… the majority of clubs are happy to have a decrease in player payments, while there’s a couple who have indicated that they would like the information to come out earlier in the future because it helps for planning, so that’s something the commission is considering for future reference.”
