The competition will see around 460 entries with players from across the globe from countries such as Wales, Japan, Russia, USA and New Zealand arrive in central Victoria for the eight day championship.
The championship is the largest event on the Australian table tennis calendar and will include singles, doubles and team matches.
Competitor categories include both men’s and women’s matches, and mixed matches in multiple age brackets from 30 to over 80-years-old.
The 35th Australian Open Veterans Table Tennis Championship practice will commence on Friday, with an official opening ceremony to be held on Saturday followed by seven days of competition.
The competition will be conducted in accordance with TTA regulations, and current ITTF laws and regulations of Table Tennis.
