Organised by Hockey Central Vic, the match will see people travel from as far as Maryborough and Kerang for the show-down.
HCV’s Melanie Tranter said the aim was to celebrate women in hockey.
“On the field girls are serious about their hockey. Off the field they love the social aspects of the game and having fun,” Ms Tranter said.
“Our Supergirls range in ages from 8 to 17, so it will be a great chance for some of our older girls to step up and show their leadership skills.
“Our Wondermums include people in their 70s and some mothers will be taking to the pitch for the first time.
Ms Tranter hopes the Wondermums will be able to overcome the power of the Supergirls by having plenty of reserves on the bench.
The hockey match between the Wondermums and Supergirls will take place at the Bendigo Hockey Complex on Friday night, with a BBQ at 6pm followed by the game at 7pm.
