The lunch will include a speech from horse trainer Darren Weir along with raffles and auctions to raise funds for research.
There were 470 attendees in 2017, with the goal this year to make a new record with over 500.
Bendigo Prostate Cancer Support Group president Neil Macdonald hoped the lunch would raise awareness about prostate cancer within the community.
“The whole idea of the lunch is to get an awareness message out that men need to be checked for prostate cancer,” Mr Macdonald said.
“It’s going to be a great afternoon to have a bit of fun and a couple of beers with your mates.”
