The Dragons, led by a best on court performance from 2018 league best and fairest Briona Giddings, defeated the Bulldogs 48-37.
The 11-goal margin was the highest on a grand final day highlighted by close results.
Like their A-grade and 17-and-under teams, the Dragons’ B-graders also notched back-to-back flag wins.
Coach Hayley Bolton said she was fortunate to get to work with such a great group of players.
“They make my job very easy,” she said.
“I think all bar two players played in both premierships – we kept a real core of seven players with a couple of different ones this year.
“That has allowed the continuity with the set plays and structures that we have.
“We’re really fortunate to have the depth we do in all our grades.”
The win capped an amazing season for Sandhurst stalwart Briona Giddings, who added premiership and grand final best on court medallions to her third league medal.
Her move from wing defence into goal defence and that of Laura Parkhill into centre in the second quarter helped Sandhurst turn a one goal quarter time lead into an 11 point advantage at half time.
Bolton said she could not speak highly enough of what Giddings’ meant to Sandhurst.
“She is just such an awesome leader for our team and at the club,” she said.
“She has so much experience and has been a really crucial part of our team success this year.”
After seven seasons as a coach, Bolton indicated she would take a break from coaching in 2019, but would continue to have an involvement with the club.
