The tournament will be held over three days and will serve as one of the selection events for the Australian team to contest the World Poomsae Championships later this year in Taiwan.

The National Championships will offer colour and black belt divisions for Sparring, Poomsae, Para Taekwondo and the disciplines of Self Defence and Breaking.

Competition gets under way at 9am on Saturday.

• Admission prices:

Adult – $20 day pass; $50 3-day pass.

Infant (5 and under) – free.

Child (6-17) – $10 day pass; $25 3-day pass.

Seniors (60+) – Free.

Family (2 adults, 2 children) – $30 day pass; $70 3-day pass.
