The Borough bolstered its junior numbers this year and it paid dividends, with the club winning the 1A, 1B, 2B and 3B divisions.
“We are really proud of the girls,’’ Eaglehawk FNC netball operations manager Deb Lawton said.
“This is the most teams we’ve had at junior level and we’re very excited to see so much talent coming through.”
The section 1A team, coached by Jackie Gallagher and Eleisha Lay, scored a 30-26 win over Golden Square in a high quality grand final.
Amanda O’Neill coached the section 1B team to a 31-25 grand final win against Golden Square.
The section 2B squad, coached by Kylie Piercy, proved too good for Zodiacs, 30-24.
The 3B grand final was a thriller, with the Kate Fuller-coached Eaglehawk side edging out South Bendigo 22-21.
“We’re very lucky that we had great coaches who put in a lot of hard work with the girls,’’ Lawton added.
