RESERVES
Pyramid Hill put an end to Bridgewater’s run of flag success in the Loddon Valley league reserves competition on Saturday.
Having last year become the first club to win three reserves premierships in a row, the Mean Machine were gunning for four on the trot on their home ground.
However, they were thwarted by the Bulldogs, who turned a 10-point half-time deficit into a nine-point victory, 9.4 (58) to 7.7 (49). FULL STORY HERE
UNDER-18S
Pyramid Hill kicked the last goal of the match to clinch a thrilling three-point victory over Maiden Gully YCW in Saturday’s Loddon Valley league under-18 grand final.
The Bulldogs had double the scoring shots than the Eagles, but were trailing late before co-captain Mitch Stephens kicked what proved to be the match-winning goal after he converted from 20m out following a contested mark.
The Bulldogs prevailed 3.13 (31) to 4.4 (28) to claim back-to-back premierships as they again beat Maiden Gully YCW in the grand final. FULL STORY HERE
A GRADE
Bridgewater has mastered atrocious conditions and an experienced Calivil United to claim its first Loddon Valley league A-grade netball premiership in seven years.
A spirited and tight-knit Mean Machine, led by a standout performance from their sharpshooter Olivia Treloar, defeated the Demons 39-32 on their home court at Bridgewater.
The Mean Machine star made a mockery of the atrocious conditions at Bridgewater, to deliver an outstanding best on court display in her club’s first A-grade premiership since 2011. FULL STORY HERE
B GRADE
Rain and hail might have delayed the premiership presentation for roughly 15 minutes.
But earlier, nothing could halt Bridgewater advancing to a third-straight LVFNL B-grade premiership on Saturday.
The Mean Machine, brilliantly led by their coach and star goal shooter Kym Childs, defeated Maiden Gully YCW 57-43. FULL STORY HERE

In C-grade, a goal in the dying seconds from Mitiamo goal shooter Raquel Spence halted a brave Inglewood fightback as the Superoos scored a nail-biting 48-47 win.

C RESERVE
Maiden Gully YCW scored the first of two premierships for the day with a 53-32 C-reserve win against Pyramid Hill to cap another undefeated season.
Captain Abbey Conway was best on court for the victorious Eagles.

17 AND UNDER and 15 AND UNDER
Calivil United and Maiden Gully YCW are celebrating more junior success following premiership wins on Saturday.
The Demons claimed their first Loddon Valley league 17-and-under premiership since the late ’90s, with a 60-46 win against minor round premier Inglewood.
Meanwhile, Maiden Gully YCW made it back-to-back 15-and-under flags with a 44-35 victory against Inglewood. FULL STORY HERE
