Police say the 52-year-old man was paragliding while being towed by quad bike over a property at Murphy’s Lane when his paraglider fell to the ground.
Emergency Services were called to Murphy’s Lane in Knowsley just after 6.30am on September 16.
A man in his 50s suffered spinal, chest and leg injuries, and was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
Police are working with the Hangliding Federation of Australia as part of the investigation.
The investigation continues.
