The restaurant will donate takings from Friday, September 14 to Sunday, September 16 to the OTIS Foundation, Bendigo Health and Women in Sport.
Richard Nash said the last tally of sales was taken about halfway through lunch on Sunday.
The restaurant’s team this year hopes to raise $50,000 for its three nominated causes, which will share in the donations equally.
Mr Nash said all credit had to go to his staff, who had worked tirelessly throughout the weekend.
Their hard work extended even further back, he said, with a lot of preparation going into the fundraising event.
“It’s a massive effort from them,” he said.
Mr Nash and his wife, co-owner Liz, have been longtime supporters of the OTIS Foundation and see their contribution as a tribute to a friend who passed away from cancer.
They have also donated to Bendigo Health through Community Matters for the past three or four years, Mr Nash said.
As for Women in Sport, Mr Nash said they were “flabbergasted” to learn of the lack of female changerooms at the Queen Elizabeth Oval, and with their daughter starting to play netball, it only highlighted the issue.
It was also a way to give back to the community that had supported them, he said.
