The Superoos will battle Newbridge in this Saturday’s Loddon Valley league grand final having taken the toughest route possible by winning three knockout finals.

In the history of the top five finals system in the Bendigo, Heathcote District and Loddon Valley leagues, the Superoos of 2018 have become just the eighth team to win their way into the grand final from the elimination final.

But only Golden Square of 2001 and YCW the following year in 2002 have won premierships from the elimination final.
