Eaglehawk last weekend captured the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League men’s championship for 2018, winning it for the third-straight year.
Earlier this year the Bendigo Bowls Division pennant was also won by Eaglehawk when it defeated South Bendigo by four shots.
The Hockey Central Victoria A Grade women’s premiership earlier this month was also an Eaglehawk triumph following its victory over Strathdale.
And now the Borough’s senior football team has created the opportunity for an Eaglehawk premiership quadrella in 2018.
The Hawks are the first team through to the Bendigo Football-Netball League senior grand final following their 40-point victory over Strathfieldsaye in the second semi-final last Saturday night at the QEO.
It’s a second grand final in a row for the Hawks and another crack at winning their first flag since the second of back-to-back triumphs in 2008.
However, while the footballers are a flag chance, a BFNL A Grade netball premiership opportunity will elude the Hawks after they bowed out of the finals with a straight-sets exit.
