More than 700 delegates have gathered in town for the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Community Bank National Conference.
2018 marks two decades since the first community banks were established, with attention now turning to the next 20 years.
The immediate focus is on opportunities in an environment where the banking industry has received a battering, with Bendigo Bank managing director Marnie Baker yesterday saying community banks were in a good position to pick up more customers disillusioned with the status quo.
The three-day event winds up today at the All Seasons Resort Hotel.
