The pair was among six Bendigo Canoe Club paddlers to take part in the event, which was held on the Yarra River last weekend.
Sixty-seven paddlers competed in the three-kilometre event.
Douglass won gold in the under-18 female event and was also the fastest female, while Humphry won the under-18 male and was fastest male overall.
Charlie Wardrop made it a Bendigo quinella by finishing second behind Humphrey in the under-18 male event, while Ashlee Illot scored silver in the under-16 female event.
Baelea Collins and Liam Jacobsen also competed with distinction in Melbourne.
All six paddlers are members of the Bendigo Academy of Sports kayaking development program.
The program is now taking new students and is suitable for aspiring juniors between 12-18 years old.
A try-out day will be held at Lake Weeroona on October 6.
