Neaves and McIvor left the ground in Saturday night’s second semi-final win over Strathfieldsaye with what appeared to be season-ending injuries.
Neaves was helped from the field nursing an arm injury after falling awkwardly in a marking contest, while McIvor had his calf on ice from late in the third quarter.
However, on Sunday morning Eaglehawk assistant coach Linton Jacobs said the news was positive for both players.
“Jonty had scans last night and he hasn’t broken anything,’’ Jacobs said.
“He has hurt some tendons in his elbow, but he’ll be right to play in the grand final.
“Riley was sore in the calf, but he didn’t ping it. He’ll be right to play (in the grand final) as well.”
