The Catherine McAuley College student will perform I Am Australian at the World Inner Peace Celebration of the United Nations Association of Australia on September 22. The performance will be in front of delegates and participants from visiting countries.
“I was only told about it recently and will be performing for about 2000 people,” Erin said. “I won’t know anyone there which is a good thing (for the nerves).”
Music runs in Erin’s family with her dad a member of two bands.
“I have always liked singing. I got introduced to Nexus Bendigo Youth Theatre and have loved doing that,” she said.
“It would be a dream to do it as a career but I’ll wait to see what the future holds.”
Following her performance on September 22, Erin will also feature in the ensemble of Tribe Youth Theatre’s production of Grease from September 28.
