Support Heartbeat Victoria by attending a fundraising event this Tuesday.
Purchase a new summer wardrobe, mingle with friends and enjoy a cuppa.
The event includes afternoon tea, three raffle tickets and a display of Marg's Jewellery.
Monies raised from the event will be put towards buying equipment necessary to assist heart patients in our region.

Spring Fun Day
Make sure you include this on your to-do list for spring events coming up.
One Way Gatherings, a new church in the Eaglehawk area, are hosting a Family Fun Day and Car Boot Sale
The day will feature free children’s activities, a puppet show, puppet making workshop, free barbecue and drinks.
Free sites are available for anyone who would like to set up a stall.

Spring into Volunteering
As the weather warms up, it's a perfect time to get out and make a difference.
Head along to this volunteering expo, featuring guest speakers from the CFA, Lions International, Bendigo Heritage Attractions, The Bushfire Foundation and many more.

Time to Write
Master your writing skills by celebrating Time to Write, a nation-wide initiative encouraging Australians to put pen to paper.
As part of the event, Officeworks is hosting free Love to Learn writing activities.
These workshops are suitable for all ages and skills levels.
The workshops will be running every Saturday and Sunday throughout September with topics such as: Write a brilliant poem, master journal writing and much more.

Speedboat Club Birthday
Started in 1948, the Victorian Speed Boat Club has been racing at Lake Eppalock since the lake's formation.
This year marks the club’s 70th birthday and to celebrate there will be a massive party for all to enjoy.
Kicking off in the morning, there will be a display of vintage race boats, current race boats, water activities, memorabilia and the Jimmy Cupples band. DJ Grace will take the event into the evening.

Living Well with Dementia
As part of Dementia Awareness Month, the Living Well with Dementia Photo Exhibition will be on in Bendigo and Kangaroo Flat this September.
The exhibition features images of people living with dementia and is being held to raise awareness for those living with dementia and offer support for families and carers.
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to sign up and become a Dementia Friend, a program designed to make a positive difference to those living with dementia.

When: September 10-15, from 11am.
Gem Club Expo
Teach your family something new this weekend by attending the Gem Club Expo.
See top quality stall holders selling rocks, minerals, fossils, jewellery, tools and more.
Try your hand at gold panning, metal detecting and gem sifting.
This event also features demonstrations, raffle, lucky door prizes and more.
Refreshments will be available from the canteen and there is also a barbecue. $8 entry, under-12s are free.

Sunday Afternoon Dance
Dance this Sunday away with a fun event hosted by the Spring Gully Hall Committee.
The afternoon features music by McNees Dance Band, an entertaining program and a home-cooked afternoon tea. There will also be a raffle and prizes.
