The Dragons produced three brilliant performances in second semi-finals on Sunday and they look hard to beat in the grand finals in a fortnight.
The Sandhurst under-15 girls dominated the second semi-final clash with Strathfieldsaye.
The Dragons won by 64 points after keeping Strathfieldsaye scoreless, 9.12 (66) to 0.2 (2).
Lila Keck kicked four goals, while Caitlin Richardson and Lucia Painter were superb in the big win.
Storm’s best were Natasha Bratby and Jemma Coote.
The Storm now plays Kyneton in the preliminary final after the Tigers edged out Eaglehawk by one point in the first semi-final.
The Tigers trailed for most of the day, but at the final siren they were in front by one point, 6.8 (44) to 7.1 (43).
Eliza Bell and Abby Thompson were best for the Tigers, while Drew Ryan and Lexie Moss stood out for the Hawks.
Sandhurst’s under-16 seniors side was just as impressive as the under-15 girls.
The Dragons outclassed South Bendigo in the under-16 second semi-final 19.9 (123) to 5.6 (36).
Star trio Cooper Smith, Cobi Maxted and Noah Walsh kicked 13 goals between them.
South Bendigo now tackles Strathfieldsaye in Saturday’s preliminary final at the QEO.
The Storm advanced to the final three after eliminating Kyneton by 11 points in the first semi-final. Jake Gamble and Abe Sheahan were best for the Storm. Kyneton’s best were Dominic Bennington and Josh Willmott.
In the under-14 seniors, Sandhurst advanced to the grand final after defeating Kyneton by 75 points in the second semi-final.
Jacob Nihill and Michael Kiraly led the way for the Dragons in the big win. Charlie May and Ben Cameron battled hard for the Tigers.
St Therese’s upstaged minor premier Kyneton in the under-12A second semi-final.
The Sharks rallied from a seven-point half-time deficit to win 4.7 (31) to 3.2 (20). Henry Edwards and Ethan McMahon were best for St Therese’s, while Jye Chambers and Tom Ford were best for Kyneton.
In the under-18 girls second semi-final, Kangaroo Flat qualified for the grand final after defeating Strathfieldsaye by 10 points.
Jemma Finning and Abbey Barber were brilliant for the Roos. Storm’s best were Tara Slender and Maeve Tupper.
