It didn’t take long for the two grand finalists of last season to again assert their authority on the competition and on Saturday they will renew their rivalry in the second semi-final at Donald.
The winner will go straight through to the grand final, while the loser must come up against what will be a rested Sea Lake Nandaly in next week’s preliminary final.

The Bulls have had the measure of the Demons in both encounters so far this season by margins of 38 and 29 points, but Wycheproof-Narraport coach Julian Bull described both matches as “a bit of trial and error” for his side.
“Birchip-Watchem has been the benchmark all year, but we’ve had some key personnel out both times we’ve played them,” Bull said.

“I’m confident that our boys can turn it around. We’ve known for a few months now that it is going to be coming down to this and we’ve been planning for it for a while.
“We have a few plans we will put in place that if we can execute them right then I think we can definitely win.”
Bulls’ opposing coach is Birchip-Watchem ruckman Lochlan Sirett, who earlier this week won the Feeny Medal with 20 votes.
