After having a successful launch of Enlighten on Wednesday, 11 of the 19 works will feature on Saturday night as well.
City of Greater Bendigo creative communities coordinator Maree Tonkin said the Enlighten team was thrilled with the event.
“In talking to people today, we had great feedback about the work presented in particular the large scale works and the more intimate projections,” she said.
“The feedback form artists has also been great. We had a great tech team and the way it has been curated with creative producer Molly Braddon’s expertise has guided artist to make sure their work was represented in best possible way.
“We are also pretty thrilled with the integration with White Night. There’s some complimentary programming on Saturday that aligns with our themes.”
City of Greater Bendigo projection festival officer Molly Braddon said she was impressed with the diverse range of work put forward by local artists.
“Our theme was based around idea of horizons and every artist has interpreted in their own way,” she siad.
“The way the works look and are projected is pretty cool. We were probably not expecting such a diverse range but it highlights the diversity of our local people.
“All our artist have a connection to the local area and some are exploring using video for the first time. It’s really fantastic to see it all as a collective – a beautiful melting pot of culture.”
