Those opposing this great suggestion are looking very foolish and irresponsible to me.
This will help irrigators grow new hay crop etc. to replace hay crop given to help feed hungry livestock. To carry through, is a very worthy cause.
The Murray is in good shape and will not miss this water greatly.
If not for the foresight and amazing work efforts of our ancestors, building dams and locks, the Murray would have all but stopped running and been near dry, like I have seen it at Echuca in the dry 1940s.
The money paid for this could also go to help drought affected communities where many, as well as farmers, are in serious trouble. This is a great opportunity to achieve much very easily with little down side. Just using good common sense. Well done Andrew. I pray it happens. So come on all leaders of our country, your country needs you to act now. Such a chance to help.
W.B. Burke, Echuca (ex-irrigator)

Thanks to Peter Mac
I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the kind and caring way I was looked after over the last 39 days by all the very professional Peter Mac staff. The radiation therapy team – doctors, nurses, receptionist and all others that were involved with my radiation therapy for cancer.
I just could not believe how well you all work as a very close team. You all appear to work as one. Even on the hard days you all pulled together as a strong team.
Take Paul. Paul was a excellent representative for Peter Mac Bendigo. Paul has that very kind and caring way for others that are not sure how to handle their radiation therapy for cancer. He showed all new and cancer patients how not to stress.
He had a way to relax them and make them happy and not worried about the treatment. He would say to them you have all the caring radiation therapy team that will help and look after you through your treatment. They put their full trust in Paul. Paul is like all the dedicated team - they do more for others then they do for themself. May God Bless all the Peter Mac staff that are involved with the cancer treatment that elp all cancer patients.
Paul is like all the dedicated team - they do more for others then they do for themself.

The other thing I could not believe in how clean and tidy all the Peter Mac areas are kept. Nothing appears out of place. Even in hard to get places it was spotless. Even though I have been in other hospitals this one is for sure the cleanest This is a real credit to the Peter Mac staff for keeping the areas so clean. All patients and visitors see just how clean you keep the areas.
To all the Peter Mac staff , you will never know just how much you are liked and respected. Many think the world of you and how you are striving to help them live longer to be able to spend more time with their loved ones. And to be happy and to fulfill some of their dreams for the rest of their life. Believe me spending 39 days with the team, even for short treatments, you are all very good people. You may never be told how much you are loved and respected by all. Thank you again for being so kind and caring.
