The popular musical is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year with Katie McMillan and Mitch Hammer the latest paring to take on the role of Sandy and Danny.
Less than 200 tickets are left for Grease's eight-show season.
“Grease is the highlight of my week and my favourite show I’ve been a part of,” Hammer said. “To have sold so many tickets this early is humbling and motivates us all to perform the best show we can.”
Almost 40 young performers will help bring the story and familiar soundtrack to life.
“I feel so genuinely proud and excited for everyone involved,” McMillan said. “When show time comes around we can get out there and show them what we as a team have created.”
Tribe Youth Theatre’s Grease is on at the Girton Black Box theatre on September 28, 30 and October 2, 3, 4 and 5 at 7pm. It is also on September 30 and October 6 at 2pm. Visit www.gotix.com.au for tickets.
