The Senator for Victoria and Deputy Nationals leader will now serve as Minister for Regional Services, Sport, Local Government and Decentralisation.
New Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced his ministry on Sunday.

Formerly Senator McKenzie served as Minister for Sport, Minister for Rural Health and Minister for Regional Communications.
She welcomed the new role in a statement on Sunday.
“It is an honour to be reappointed to the Cabinet in the Morrison-McCormack Liberal National Government,” Senator McKenzie said.
“It is a privilege to be able to serve the Prime Minister continuing my role as the Minister for Sport, as well as my new appointments as the Minister for Regional Services, Decentralisation and Local Government.”
Senator McKenzie congratulated colleagues Andrew Broad, Michelle Landry for their respective appointments as Assistant Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Children and Families.
Senator McKenzie said she was excited to continue the Nationals tradition of decentralisation, to create more vibrant regional communities.
“I look forward to working with the Liberal and National team to drive our agenda for cheaper power, lower taxes, and stronger regional communities,” she said
“Our suite of measures will create more jobs in the regions, boosting our local economies and making our communities more liveable – all the while easing congestion in our overpopulated capital cities.”
