Police have charged a woman with drug trafficking after an intercept in Castlemaine on Thursday night.

Police pulled the woman over on Barkers Street at about 8.20pm.
Police conducted a search of the car and found a quantity of what is alleged to be methamphetamine.
The female driver and her passenger were arrested.
Police then executed a search warrant at an address on French Court in Castlemaine, where they found a further amount of what is allegedly methamphetamine.
A 49-year-old woman has been charged with offences including drug trafficking and is due to appear in Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
