The Centre for Non-Violence, Annie North Women’s Refuge, ARC Justice, Loddon Campaspe Centre Against Sexual Assault and Women’s Health Loddon Mallee are hosting the city’s fourth Women in Boards event from 5.30pm – 8pm on Wednesday next week.
“Every time we have run one, we’ve not only accomplished our goals of welcoming women on boards, but see continued participation and continued interest,” CNV chief executive Margaret Augerinos said.
Women accounted for 28.2 per cent of ASX 200 company boards in the calendar year to July 31.
A total of 57 women were appointed to ASX 200 boards in the same period.
Next week’s event will be held at the Centre for Non-Violence, at 96-98 Pall Mall in Bendigo.
