The Winter Blues Street Festival previews this year’s Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival with each of the 25 acts playing at the November festival.
In previous years at the BBRMF, the Bridge Hotel has proved itself popular with its street party-style venue.
Kicking off on Thursday night inside the Bridge Hotel with Dan Duggan, Sarah Wilkinson, Andy Garlick and Sherri Parry, the festival will continue until Sunday.
Friday night sees Rhyley McGrath, Alister Turrill, Grim Fawkner and High 79 performing in the bar.
From Saturday, part of Bridge Street will be closed off with 10 acts playing in the street between midday and 10pm.
Award-winning blues and roots perform Geoff Achison will be joined by Turrill, Jess Parker and the Troublied Waters, the Justin Yap Band, Rattlin’ Bones Blackwood, The Blue Darts, Jimmy Williams Xperience, White Lighting, Groove Juice and Electric Blues Collective.
The outdoor street festival continues Sunday from midday to 6.30pm with the Erica Hawkey Band, Jakal, Alawishus Jones and the Outright Lies, the Bill Barber Duo, Midweek Blues, Funk Junkies and Messin’ Round.
